How To Boost Your Website Traffic

One of the easiest ways to get more site traffic isn't by writing more content, it's actually by expanding internationally.

In this article article I'm gonna be teaching you how to double your blog traffic through internationalization.

Step 1 - Translate Your Site
The first thing you wanna do is translate your content. By doing that, whatever article you have, you're able to translate it into the language that you're going after. Keep in mind that the majority of the world doesn't speak English.

There's hundreds of other languages that are extremely popular, and there's a lot of money outside of just popular Nations like the United States. The world doesn't revolve around America only.

It's much more bigger. So by translating your content or site to different languages, when people who are struggling with English visit your site, they can just translate it to their own language and read your content.

And they're likely going to come back.

Step 2 - Use Hreflang
Alright, after you've translated your site, the next thing you wanna do is to use hreflang code. Hreflang code is from Google, or atleast Google uses it. I don't really know who created it, but a lot of search engines use it.

What hreflang does is that it tells the search engines, “Hey, this page right here is my English version, and this other page is my Spanish version.

And you may want to do that because let's say in regions like Spain, roughly 10% of the market speaks english. 90 to 95% speak Spanish.

All you have to do is give it time, do the hreflang set up, make sure you enter a link so your Spanish pages should have links to your other Spanish pages. You don't want your Spanish pages linking back to your English pages.

Conclusion

By doing that, your site is going to rank up in no time. If you don't know how to set up hreflang, hire someone on Fiverr to do it for you, it's pretty cheap.

And some templates offer translation for free. Just like Blogger. All you have to do is enable it.
